Dr. Fr. John P.J., a Priest of the Archdiocese of Bhopal, is a renowned educationist, an outstanding linguist and a highly accomplished academician. Dr. Fr. John has an extensive experience in the field of education as Principal of renowned schools and colleges in Bhopal and distinguished himself highly in the field of education and administration. He is Ex Officio Member of Madhya Pradesh State Higher Education Council and also the Advisory Council Member for a project on Creating Sustainable Agricultural Supply Chains funded by UK India Education Research Initiative (UKIERI).
He did his M.A. in Hindi and Sociology, M.Ed., Ph.D in Sociology, as well as a Diploma in Communication from Gregorian University, Rome.
He has worked as the Director of M.P. Inter Diocesan Education Board and been appointed University Nominee, Vice Chancellors Nominee, and Member of Inspection Committees for affiliation for various Institutes/colleges. Dr. Fr. John is a voracious reader and a music composer. He has flair of doing research projects. Recently, he has furnished a research project funded by University Grants Commission (UGC) titled 'An Analysis on the Socio-Economic condition & health status of tribal women in Madhya Pradesh'.
